In the heritage of his great-grandfather, the globetrotter professor Samuel Hunt, he found two letters dated back in 1898. The letters were written by a professor Ábray, an apparently lunatic Hungarian scientist, about a time machine he claimed to have been working on. The references point to Eger, and Hunt wants to find out what happened to the man’s preposterous invention. But he soon realizes that someone is desperately trying to stop him... Think! Overview :Brain Marmelade is a 2D platformer/ adventure game with an hand-draw creepy art style and a unique combat system. This game follows the "Dumped One" in his dangerous quest to find the GLORIOUS Brain Marmelade. The platformer :Move around the levels and... Dodge ! Jump ! Jump again and roll to avoid enemies’ traps and attacks ! The combat system :Place yourself near your foes, focus the cursor on them, take a good look and follow the combo appearing above their head to chain attack them and make them disappear ! Creator note : This is the first game i’ve made and posted online. The creation phase ended in september 2018 but i couldn’t upload it to Steam until now. The path is set, but the gates have to be opened, and the guardians defeated. Safe journey to you ! Travel through the Abyss :Open your way through the darkness, ride along the old ruins and activate the seized mechanisms in the roots to awaken the abyss. Fight the Guardians : To defeat the monsters of the Abyss, you will need more than mere brute strength. Observe them and shoot their shell to weaken them ! It's the only way to defeat them! Creator note : PFFF ! Making that kind of game was a real thrill !... and a hell of workload ! Seeing this very personal universe take life is quite strange but, wow! I’m so happy with it! Creating this game allowed me to improve drastically. And even if the result isn’t perfect yet, i can tell that I’ve come a long way! Кстати, если хорошенько постараться, потом еще можно дать неприятелю сдачи.Друзья и враги Помимо вас, мир населяют и другие расы. Решительные люди, заносчивые эльфы, алчные гномы и гневные орки — все они обретаются где-то поблизости. Тут не обойтись без дипломатии. В лице этих рас вы можете заполучить как врагов, так и союзников. Исследуйте мир и используйте связи для продвижения, балансируя между войной, торговлей и союзом с другими существами.
