Отряд коммандос представляет собой элитное военное подразделение, специализирующееся на секретных операциях и проникновении на территорию противника. Управляя командиром отряда коммандос, можно выполнять различные миссии. Располагаясь в штаб-квартире спецназа, отряд коммандос может использовать различную технику, например, вертолет «Чинук» или быстрый «Зодиак», чтобы пробраться в тыл врага и нанести удар по базам, а также по агентам! Отряд коммандос оснащен специальным оружием и снаряжением: морские и наземные мины, дымовые шашки, противогазы, штурмовая винтовка с лазерным прицелом и т.д. Командир коммандос может набирать людей в свой отряд, а также проводить учения для повышения уровня опыта и гарантирования успеха в ходе дальнейших миссий. В роли командира коммандос можно играть двумя способами: в качестве командира своего отряда на месте событий или в одиночку. Когда командир коммандос действует как командир своего отряда, возможно применение различных тактик: • незаметное перемещение по суше; • закладка минного поля как на суше, так и на море; применение вертолета «Зодиак» на любой территории для нанесения урона войскам; • проведение молниеносных нападений на военные базы противника. В случае успеха это позволит уничтожить размещенные там отряды без раскрытия источника атаки. • саботирование отрядов на суше, что обезвредит их на несколько дней. Когда командир коммандос действует в одиночку, он может легко проникать на объекты, использовать дымовые гранаты для обездвиживания других персонажей и ослабления защиты, убивать врага из штурмовой винтовки и использовать магазин увеличенной емкости. С помощью вертолета «Чинук» можно вывезти цель из другой страны, избегая при этом пограничного контроля. Навыки проникновения также используются для закладывания бомбы, похищения и побега.
